Max Temperature

Max temperature predictably increases as latitude approaches 0 (the equator) and decreases as latitude moves farther from the equator. Notably, the temperature decreases are relatively symmetric at higher and lower latitudes. This effect can be explained by the fact that areas near the equator are closer to the sun than other areas of the Earth, and this increases their temperature dramatically.
